Balmoral Group Australia has significant experience in Economic Development studies that lead to practical guidance for the implementation of programs that work. As an example BGA was engaged by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet to develop Regional Economic Development Strategies (REDS) for 8 regions covering 25 Local Government Areas in rural and regional NSW. The Strategies informed actions that could drive economic growth into the future. These were identified using a synthesis of statistical economic data (Input-Output and Regional Area Modelling, demographic Census data) and qualitative research methods including surveys, phone interviews and community workshops.
